How do we warm up in winter at Tiliqua Tiliqua? – LAYERS
We are now seeking submissions for the 2026 Tiliqua Tiliqua Printmakers Show. This year the theme is Layers. This is not the year for stark minimalism. We want to see you explore nuances, additions, depths of meaning and depths of ink. You can layer plates, materials or colours – just pile it on!
The only other restriction (apart from your work incorporating a printmaking technique) is of size and quantity. Our gallery is small, so the works also have to be modest in dimension. You can submit up to three works for consideration, but we may only be able to take one. So read the instructions (PLEASE) and get to work, while we sit back to await your submission.

How to make your submission

We will contact you after submissions have closed to let you know if you have been successful. We will ask for payment of the entry fee then.
Important information
Works must reflect the theme and predominantly be created using a printmaking technique.
The work must be for sale.
We will not be charging commission on sales.
You can submit up to three works, although it is possible only one will be selected for the exhibition.
This is not a competition, there will be no judging of your work. But if we feel the work does not reflect the theme, or the general standard of work submitted, we may not be able to accept it.
Work does not have to be framed, we use a magnet system for exhibiting works on paper.
SIZE RESTRICTIONS AND FEES
SMALL WORKS / $50 per work*
To qualify as small, a 2D work must be equal to or smaller than the equivalent of 40 x 40cm (1600 cm squared). For example: 35 x 45 cm or 20 x 80 cm. Please include any frame in your measurement!
A 3D work must be smaller than the equivalent of 40 x 40 x 40 cm. For example: 30 x 50 x 35cm, or 60 x 60 x 15 cm.
LARGE WORKS / $80 per work*
Large works must be the same size or smaller than the equivalent of two small works. For example: 40 x 80cm or 50 x 64cm.
*BENDING THE RULES
We know some of you work small, very small. Under these circumstances, the fee for multiple smaller works may be the same as for one larger work. For instance: if you submit two 10 x 15cm prints, and we accept both, we would still only charge you $50. We would discuss this with you we are considering your submission.
