ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Helena Lillywhite and Angélique Moseley both focus on art with movement and openness to interpretation.
Helena Lillywhite is a Sydney-based artist, originally from the United Kingdom. Holding a Bachelor of Arts, her practice is deeply rooted in her connection to life and nature. Through an intricate play of light and shadow, she deconstructs and simplifies forms, creating compositions that are both aesthetically refined and structurally compelling.
She has been the recipient of several awards, has work on public display purchased by the City of Sydney, and has sold her works to collectors both in Australia and internationally.
Angélique Moseley / Coarsecurve is a multimedia artist (read self-taught menace). Born in Canada (‘93) they grew up as a ‘third culture’ kid, moving frequently. She studied linguistics and literature at the University of Edinburgh (‘15) and has lived on Gadigal land since 2018. Her work explores cross-cultural tethers, tech and fantasy, nature and conflict through the eyes of a queer immigrant with visual impairment.
Their work has been featured by Sugar Glider Digital in Sydney and Melbourne, Cordite and ‘The Beast’ magazines, and Barrett House studios. Currently, they are making art for Instinct (an upcoming psychological video-game demo).
